Model Program

High-STEP Health Science Academy - South Central Minnesota

The mission of the High-STEP Academy—a dynamic, regional partnership between secondary and postsecondary education, business, and community—is to provide secondary students with health science coursework and work-based learning experiences, to excite and prepare them for health science and technology careers.

High School Partners:

St. Peter High School, St. Clair High School, Cleveland High School, Le Sueur - Henderson High School, Lake Crystal, Welcomme Memorial High School, Tri-City United High School

Student Eligibility:

Juniors and seniors in high school that are interested in pursuing a health care career.

Faculty Credentialing and/or Teacher Licensure Requirements which support this program:

CTE - Health Science Teaching License; Health Care Professional Licenses and Certifications
